complete, active community lifestyle...
The community lifestyle is a very unique
feature of Deanland Wood Park.
There is a Community Centre provided for members' use. All occupiers
of Deanland are offered membership, but this is voluntary.
The
Centre is run by a committee of park residents and provides
a varied programme of events.
Deanland
is restricted to people without children or dogs, and is aimed
at the "active retired". It therefore follows that
everyone has but one aim, to enjoy their retirement.

Visiting
family are welcomed, and the Park has much to offer
them.
Deanland News is our bi-monthly free newspaper that
gives a flavour of the Park and lists up-to-date activities.
Our
own six-lane Lawn Bowls Club, run to competition standard,
is available to all on request.
